Softball Recap: Dexter Starts Season with Win on the Road

Dexter had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Piscataquis Pirates 15-1 on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

Desiree Adams was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Kayleigh Dunton, who went 3-for-4 with three doubles, three RBI, and one run.

Dexter didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 26-1 win against Searsport on the 25th. As for Piscataquis, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 20-3 loss against Foxcroft Academy on the 25th.
