Basketball Game Preview: Lorain Titans vs. Ross Little Giants

The Lorain Titans will challenge the Ross Little Giants at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Lorain's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.

Lorain will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Garfield Heights, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Lorain managed a 62-58 victory over Garfield Heights on Thursday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Titans' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 335th, while the Bulldogs are ranked seventh).

Meanwhile, Ross was just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 41-40 to Southview. The matchup marked the Little Giants' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lorain's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Ross, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

Lorain strolled past Ross in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a score of 65-51. Does Lorain have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ross turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
