Basketball Recap: Animo Pat Brown Takes a Loss

Animo Pat Brown lost against Animo Watts back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Animo Pat Brown Gryphons came up short against the Animo Watts Warriors, falling 48-27. The matchup marked the Gryphons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Animo Watts' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jahari Fisher, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Jaden Em, who posted eight points in addition to 11 boards and five steals.

Animo Pat Brown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Animo Watts, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Animo Pat Brown will face off against New Designs Watts at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Animo Pat Brown is facing New Designs Watts at the right time seeing as New Designs Watts is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Animo Watts, they will head out to square off against Burton at 1:45 p.m. on Friday. Animo Watts is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.8 points per game this season.
