Basketball Recap: North Branch Takes a Loss

North Branch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 66-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hibbing Bluejackets. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 377th, while the Bluejackets are ranked 155th).

North Branch's loss dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Hibbing, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

North Branch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hibbing, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 73-46 win against Hermantown on the 7th.
