Soccer Recap: Capitol Hill Comes Up Short

Capitol Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 7-1 to the Putnam City North Panthers. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Capitol Hill were already down 4-0.

Capitol Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Putnam City North, they moved to 3-10 with that victory, which also ended their nine-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Capitol Hill is set to face off against their familiar foe Moore at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Putnam City North will square off against rival Northwest Classen at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Putnam City North are on a three-game streak of home losses, and Northwest Classen a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck.
