Volleyball Recap: Centralia's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Centralia extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Keelyn Rempe. The Panthers came out on top against the Wabaunsee Chargers by a score of 2-0 on Saturday for which the team can thank Rempe, who had 26 assists and four digs. She has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more assists the last four times she's played.

While Centralia might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Wabaunsee scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19.

Centralia's victory bumped their record up to 32-8. As for Wabaunsee, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 28 matches and leaves them with a 34-6 record.

Centralia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Goessel on the 30th. Wabaunsee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
