Verdugo Hills's leading scorer did her thing again on Wednesday. Despite the loss, Amiyya Castanos was still balling out as she went 8 of 16 to rack up 20 points and five rebounds. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Looking ahead, Castanos and Verdugo Hills will face off against Poly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Castanos hasn't had any trouble running up the score (she's averaged 17.3 per game this season), but she'll have her work cut out for her against a dominant the Parrots defense that's only given up 17.7 points per game.
