Softball Recap: Scranton Prep Cavaliers vs. Abington Heights Comets
Scranton Prep extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 17 on Wednesday, dropping them down to 0-16. They lost 16-1 to the Abington Heights Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 two weeks ago.
As for Abington Heights, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 matchups by six runs or more this season.
For Abington Heights' part, Adrianna Condrad made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Condrad has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs.
