Volleyball Recap: Carroll Takes a Loss

Carroll lost against Badin on September 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots lost 3-0 to the Rams.

Grace Dooley paced Carroll's offense, picking up six kills. Dooley got some help from Gabbi Dooley and her eight assists. Claire Clemens controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Badin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carley Nadler led the charge by getting 12 digs and two aces. Caitlin Brown was another key player, getting 14 assists.

Carroll now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Badin, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Carroll has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Valley View on the 22nd. As for Badin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Ursuline Academy on the 20th.
