Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson Academy vs. Timnath

The Jefferson Academy Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Timnath Cubs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Jefferson Academy will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals last Thursday, then bounced right back against Eagle Ridge Academy on Thursday. The Jaguars were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Warriors. That looming 10-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Jefferson Academy yet this season.

Meanwhile, Timnath's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Niwot by a score of 3-1.

Timnath hit the Cougars with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lily Eisbrener, Gracyn Redmon, and Adelyn Clemmer.

Jefferson Academy's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-4. As for Timnath, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.
