Basketball Game Preview: Seagoville Dragons vs. Skyline Raiders + How To Watch

The Seagoville Dragons will head out to take on the Skyline Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Seagoville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.

On Tuesday, Seagoville strolled past Midlothian with points to spare, taking the game 64-46.

It was another big night for Mason Maxfield, who shot 55% from the field en route to 28 points and seven boards. The contest was his third in a row with at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Twone Long, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, Skyline came up short against South Oak Cliff on Tuesday and fell 66-55. The Raiders have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Seagoville will have to contain Robert Reddick as he made an impact in Skyline's last game. He went 10-for-19 on his way to 25 points and eight boards. Reddick is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 53% in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cyrus Sykes, who posted 12 points and five rebounds.

Seagoville's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Skyline, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Seagoville hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 62.5 points per game. It's a different story for Skyline, though, as they've been averaging only 34 points. The only thing between Seagoville and another offensive beatdown is the Raiders.
