Softball Recap: Brazos Christian Takes a Loss

Brazos Christian entered their contest against Hill Country Christian School of Austin on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Brazos Christian came up short against Hill Country Christian School of Austin, falling 17-7. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly ten runs.

Brazos Christian's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-5. As for Hill Country Christian School of Austin, they pushed their record up to 7-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

While Brazos Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
