It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pope John Paul II had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Houma Christian Warriors as they made off with an 11-1 win. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Blaze Rodriguez was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. Sammy Reynolds was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Pope John Paul II has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Houma Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-12.
