Soccer Recap: Reagan Takes a Loss

Reagan lost against West Forsyth back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Reagan took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Forsyth. While losing is never fun, Reagan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 229th, while West Forsyth are ranked 50th).

Reagan has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season. West Forsyth pushed their record up to 5-3-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reagan will host Parkland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Forsyth, they will be playing at home against Davie at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. West Forsyth's defense better be ready for this one: Davie has averaged an impressive 3.1 goals per game this season.
