Basketball Recap: Palisades Comes Up Short

Palisades was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Southern Lehigh Spartans, falling 65-35. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-23.

Despite the loss, Palisades saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lincoln Cook posted 12 points.

Palisades' defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Southern Lehigh, they moved to 4-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Palisades will head out to take on Catasauqua at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Catasauqua will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Palisades surely won't give up without a fight. As for Southern Lehigh, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Jim Thorpe at 6:45 p.m.
