Recap: Orcas Island Vikings vs. Overlake Owls
The Orcas Island Vikings lost against the Overlake Owls back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Orcas Island was beaten by Overlake 73-42. Orcas Island has not had much luck with Overlake recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Orcas Island lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jefferson Freeman. Despite the final result, he scored 8 points.
Orcas Island's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Overlake, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orcas Island will take on LaConner at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Overlake, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Interlake at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th.
