Keagen Holder leads a balanced attack to beat North Judson-San Pierre

Recap: Morgan Township Cherokees vs. North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays

There's no place like home for the Morgan Township Cherokees, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They skirted past North Judson-San Pierre 56-54. The win was all the more spectacular given Morgan Township's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 234th, while North Judson-San Pierre is ranked 59th).

Morgan Township got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Keagen Holder out in front who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The contest was Holder's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Wheeler, who scored 17 points.

Morgan Township's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. As for North Judson-San Pierre, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-1.

Morgan Township will be home for the holidays to greet Hebron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hebron is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for North Judson-San Pierre, they will head out on the road to face off against Westville at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
