Soccer Game Preview: Monroe vs. Whitewater

Monroe has enjoyed the comforts of home their last seven games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will head out to challenge the Whitewater Whippets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Monroe was handed a seven-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They beat Jefferson by a goal, winning 2-1.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Whitewater made sure to put some goals up on the board against Jefferson on Thursday. They blew past the Eagles 5-1. Considering Whitewater have won three games by more than three goals this season, another big win was nothing new.

The victory improved Monroe's record to 4-5-1. As for Whitewater, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6.
