Softball Recap: Andrews Takes a Loss

Andrews was the 11-5 winner over Georgetown when they last played one another back in May of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Yellowjackets fell 5-2 to the Bulldogs on Thursday. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emmalee Lambert made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run.

Andrews' loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Georgetown, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.

Andrews does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Georgetown, they will welcome Waccamaw at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
