Stevens has gone 9-1 against Holmes recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Falcons will square off against the Huskies at 5:30 p.m. Holmes took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Stevens, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Stevens turned things around against Marshall on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Rams.

Stevens had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-14, 25-22, 25-7.

Meanwhile, Holmes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Marshall.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 22-25, 25-14.

Stevens' victory bumped their record up to 21-13. As for Holmes, their loss dropped their record down to 8-18.

Stevens took their win against Holmes when the teams last played back in August by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
