Spencerville waltzed into their game on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the St. John's Bluejays by a score of 45-32. Given the Bearcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while the Bluejays are ranked 526th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Spencerville's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for St. John's, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
