Volleyball Recap: Evangel Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Evangel Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Abbeville Christian Academy Generals, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Generals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12, 25-20.

Evangel Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Abbeville Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Evangel Christian Academy will head out to challenge Lakeside School at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Abbeville Christian Academy, they will take on Edgewood Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
