Smoky Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Swain County, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Smoky Mountain didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-1 loss against Pisgah on the 19th. As for Swain County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-0 win against Cherokee on the 19th.
