Basketball Game Preview: Vance County Vipers vs. Carrboro Jaguars

The Vance County Vipers will head out to face off against the Carrboro Jaguars at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.

Vance County's tournament run continued when they took on Northwest Halifax on Monday. Vance County took a hard 63-45 fall against Northwest Halifax. The Vipers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Carrboro came into Monday's contest having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Cedar Ridge by a score of 63-51 on Monday.

Carrboro's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8. As for Vance County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Vance County came up short against Carrboro when the teams last played back in February, falling 71-67. Can Vance County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
