Basketball Recap: Jarahlynn Morrow Key Part of a Team Effort in Bluejays Win

Elba's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They skirted past the Cedar Bluffs Wildcats 37-34. The Bluejays have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Elba's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was JarahLynn Morrow, who posted ten points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Addison Wysocki, who earned seven points along with nine boards and six steals.

Elba's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-10. As for Cedar Bluffs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Elba has already played their next game, a 39-27 defeat against Riverside on the 18th. As for Cedar Bluffs, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Cedar Bluffs Wildcats take on the Cornerstone Christian School Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
