Basketball Recap: South Tama County Comes Up Short

South Tama County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Grinnell Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 39-30 back in January.

South Tama County's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Grinnell, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

South Tama County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 82-36 defeat against Clear Creek-Amana on the 7th. As for Grinnell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 45-24 victory against Vinton-Shellsburg on the 7th.
