Basketball Recap: Monroe Area Comes Up Short

Monroe Area lost against Seckinger back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes took a 46-30 bruising from the Seckinger Jaguars. The Purple Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monroe Area's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Seckinger, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Monroe Area will be playing at home against Greene County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Monroe Area is facing Greene County at the right time seeing as Greene County is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Seckinger, they will head out on the road to face off against Roswell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
