Volleyball Recap: Antioch Comes Up Short

Antioch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warren Township Blue Devils. The Sequoits were not able to make up for their loss to the Blue Devils from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Antioch was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23.

Antioch's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Warren Township, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antioch will head out to take on Marian Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Warren Township, they will venture away from home to face off against Zion-Benton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
