It's playoff time, and Willapa Valley had no trouble coming through when it counted. They secured a 51-46 W over the Ocosta Wildcats on Friday. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 46-44 victory two weeks ago.

Ocosta lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kayden Turner, who went 7-for-16 on his way to 18 points and seven boards. Dalton Welch was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and 14 rebounds.

Willapa Valley's win bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Ocosta, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-10 record this season.

Willapa Valley and Tulalip Heritage will face off at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Ocosta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
