Asheboro Hybrid Academy took a 69-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Vandalia Christian on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Another player making a difference was Justin Kearns, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals.

As for Vandalia Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Gospel Light Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gospel Light Christian will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.
