Softball Preview: Camden Bulldogs vs. South Pointe Stallions
For the second straight game, Camden will face off against South Pointe. Camden will venture away from home to face off against South Pointe at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Camden barely beat South Pointe the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Camden never let South Pointe get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Tuesday. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.
Maddie Stokes made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Stokes was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. That run marked the first that she scored this season.
In other batting news, Camden let Jayden Kennedy and Haydin Williams run wild. Kennedy went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Williams scored three runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most RBI Kennedy has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of KK Washington, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.
