Volleyball Game Preview: Mascoma Royals vs. Conant Orioles

After both having extra time off, the Mascoma Royals and the Conant Orioles will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Mascoma will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each matchup than the last.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Mascoma turned things around against Kearsarge on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, Conant lost 3-0 to Moultonborough Academy on Thursday. The Orioles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Mascoma's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Conant, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Mascoma beat Conant 3-1 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royals since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
