Basketball Recap: Northeast Arkansas Christian Home Educators Takes a Loss

Northeast Arkansas Christian Home Educators was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics Storm, falling 32-11. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-5.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sadie Sharbono, who posted 11 points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Audrey Broussard, who had eight points in addition to nine rebounds and three steals.

Northeast Arkansas Christian Home Educators' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics, they moved to 5-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Northeast Arkansas Christian Home Educators does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics, they will challenge Lake Area HomeSchool Sports at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
