Football Recap: Passaic County Tech Finds Playoff Glory Versus Orange

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Passaic County Tech walked away with it. They never let the Orange Tornadoes get on the board and left with a 33-0 victory on Thursday. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Passaic County Tech pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 3.8 points on average this season. As for Orange, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2-1.

Looking ahead, Passaic County Tech will square off against West Orange at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bulldogs 4.5, the Mountaineers 4.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Orange does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
