Volleyball Recap: Shiloh Comes Up Short

Shiloh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lanier Longhorns. If the Generals were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Longhorns when the teams met back in August of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-11.

Caelyn Whosendove paced Shiloh's offense, picking up nine kills. Whosendove got some help from Temperance Johnson and her 13 assists.

Shiloh's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Lanier, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-11.

Shiloh has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Discovery on the 18th. As for Lanier, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Buford on the 18th.
