Cameron's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish by a score of 3-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Dragons as it put an end to their nine-match losing streak.

Notre Dame's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Angelina Policano, who had 20 digs, nine kills, and two aces. Policano has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophie Gum, who had 19 digs, ten kills, and one block.

Cameron's record is now 2-14. As for Notre Dame, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season.

Cameron didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Madonna on the 22nd. Hopefully Notre Dame paid attention to the Dragons' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Dragons at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
