Basketball Recap: Skyline Eagles vs. Port Huron Northern Huskies
Skyline lost against Port Huron Northern back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Skyline Eagles took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Port Huron Northern Huskies. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Port Huron Northern, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skyline and Goodrich will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th. Goodrich knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Skyline likes a good challenge. As for Port Huron Northern, they will square off against Carman-Ainsworth at 4:55 p.m. on Friday. Carman-Ainsworth will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Port Huron Northern surely won't give up without a fight.
