Basketball Game Preview: Arleta Mustangs vs. WISH Academy Owls

The Arleta Mustangs will face off against the WISH Academy Owls at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Arleta is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight games on Monday. They took a 65-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of San Fernando.

Meanwhile, WISH Academy beat Middle College 56-46 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Owls.

Arleta better keep an eye on Noah Tureaud. He was instrumental in WISH Academy's win, almost dropping a double-double with 17 points and nine boards. Tureaud is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Ahren Austin was another key player, putting up 13 points.

WISH Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Arleta, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
