Peebles had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Chillicothe Cavaliers. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by just one run.

Peebles secured the win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Colyn Sims, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Crew Wilson was another, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

Peebles' record now sits at 10-6. As for Chillicothe, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peebles will take on Lynchburg-Clay at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chillicothe, they will face off against Wheelersburg at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
