Recap: DuSable Panthers vs. Hubbard Greyhounds
It was a good run, but the DuSable Panthers unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of Hubbard by a score of 34-32. DuSable lost against Hubbard in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 28-23 score last time.
DuSable lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lanae Harris, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayniha Jones, who scored nine points.
DuSable's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Hubbard, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5.
DuSable will head out on the road to face off against Bowen at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Bowen focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 back in December of 2023. As for Hubbard, they will be playing at home against Hirsch at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hirsch comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
