Basketball Game Preview: Golden Demons vs. Skyline Falcons + Official Tickets

The Golden Demons are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on the Skyline Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Golden's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Golden saw some tournament action on Saturday. The contest between the Demons and Grandview didn't end well, with the Demons falling 72-55.

Despite their loss, Golden saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Dylan Paulson, who went 5-for-8 on his way to 13 points and three steals, was perhaps the best of all. Paulson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Nick Goodspeed was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Meanwhile, Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against Westminster, falling 72-30. Having soared to a lofty 58 points in the game before, the Falcons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Golden, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Golden was able to grind out a solid victory over Skyline in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 48-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Demons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
