Volleyball Recap: Jasper County Takes a Loss

Jasper County and Academy for Classical Education squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Jasper County had to settle for second. They came up short against the Gryphons, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gryphons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Academy for Classical Education can attribute much of their success to Kate Thomason, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Jasper County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season. As for Academy for Classical Education, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-11.

Jasper County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Academy for Classical Education, they will square off against Haralson County on Saturday.
