Basketball Recap: St. Paul Central Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Cynara Easley and Elizabeth Adedigba

St. Paul Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the North Polars, falling 54-29. The Minutemen were not able to make up for their defeat to the Polars from their previous meeting back in December of 2022.

Elizabeth Adedigba and Cynara Easley certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Adedigba posted 12 points, while Easley scored eight points. The dominant performance gave Adedigba a new career-high in points.

St. Paul Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for North, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul Central will face off against Tartan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North, they will square off against Edison at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
