Harleton hadn't done well against McLeod recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Harleton Wildcats secured a 26-22 W over the McLeod Longhorns. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats who have now won three matches in a row.

Harleton's win bumped their record up to 8-19. As for McLeod, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-19.

As for McLeod, they will head out on the road to challenge Big Sandy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Big Sandy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully McLeod likes a good challenge.
