Cromwell/Portland falls short of Bloomfield in the playoffs

Recap: Cromwell/Portland Panthers vs. Bloomfield Warhawks
The Cromwell/Portland Panthers and the Bloomfield Warhawks squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly the Cromwell/Portland Panthers had to settle for second. They suffered a tough 42-20 loss at the hands of the Warhawks. Cromwell/Portland's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Bloomfield's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Davion Kerr led the charge by rushing for 181 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also picking up 49 receiving yards. Davien Kerr was another key contributor, gaining 141 total yards and two touchdowns.
Cromwell/Portland's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Bloomfield, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.
Cromwell/Portland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bloomfield also has no future games currently scheduled.
