Volleyball Recap: Royal Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Royal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat back in September.

While Royal was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Fort Bend Willowridge's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-20.

Royal's loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Fort Bend Willowridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-19.

As of now, neither Royal nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
