Softball Recap: Fort Wayne Northrop Bruins vs. Elkhart Lions
Fort Wayne Northrop had lost eight straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 7-9 to make it nine. They came up short against the Elkhart Lions, falling 17-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Bruins couldn't push the score so high this time.
Brilee Day made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.
