Soccer Recap: Sebring Comes Up Short

Sebring's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Lake Wales Highlanders by a score of 2-1. The Blue Streaks just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Scarlett Lackey, who's now up to 18 this season.

Sebring's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Lake Wales, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Sebring wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Lake Placid on the 9th. Lake Wales has also already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Winter Haven on the 8th.
