Basketball Recap: Monterey Bay Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Monterey Bay Academy hadn't done well against Lodi Academy recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Monterey Bay Academy put the hurt on the Lodi Academy Titans with a sharp 52-29 win. The victory was just business as usual for Monterey Bay Academy, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Lodi Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ty Zinke, who posted eight points along with 11 rebounds and three steals. Zinke is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Simon Rich was another key player, putting up four points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Monterey Bay Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Lodi Academy, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Monterey Bay Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-36 loss against College View Academy on the 24th. Lodi Academy has also already played their next matchup, a 50-46 defeat against Pacific Union College Prep on the 23rd.
