Basketball Recap: Kern Valley Victorious

Kern Valley proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 23) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 36-35 win over the Lindsay Cardinals.

Kern Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Casey Trumpower, who posted ten points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was EJ Anderson, who had six points and six rebounds.

The win got Kern Valley back to even at 3-3. As for Lindsay, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kern Valley will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bishop Union at 7:30 p.m. on December 9. The contest will give the Broncs their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Lindsay, they will face off against Highland at 6:30 p.m. on December 2.
